Some of the research for Multi-Sensing and Avionics surrounds the development of multi-sensor systems for continuous and reliable navigation in all environments (e.g. low feasibility environments) and inter-satellite links using laser communications. Past projects have included a pulsed high-power LED light source for schlieren imaging. These projects have come from members involved in various departments such as Geomatics Engineering and Electrical and Software Engineering, Computer Science, and Geography.
Some core focuses of the affiliated facilities include applications of mixed signal integrated circuit designs and biometric awareness.
