Overview
Dr. Joanna Wong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. Her research interests heavily surround materials and manufacturing, primarily advanced manufacturing, advanced materials, composite materials, nanomaterials, and materials engineering. Additionally she works on aerospace systems and novel technologies. Dr. Wong is interested in manufacturing aerospace structures and deployable booms, for example, in the use of a CubeSat.
