Find a drop-in wellness space on campus
Sometimes, you just need to talk it out with someone who knows what you’re going through. Who better to turn to than another student? Every weekday, from 2 – 4 p.m., there are Peer Listeners at the Well.
Never heard of the Well? Well, it’s a new drop-in wellness space on campus. Visit the Well for services to support your wellness and help you flourish. There’s a lounge and coffee, tea and snacks too if you just want to stop by.
Student to student peer support
Peer support is recognized as one of the most effective mental health support by the . Spending time crafting, talking or playing games with other ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ students, even ones you’ve never met before, is an easy way to maintain positive mental health. Peer Listeners are just one option for peer support at ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½. There are several networks of peer supporters who volunteer their time to help you.
Campus Community Hub
°Õ³ó±ðÌýCampus Community Hub is a drop-in space next to the Subway in Yamnuska Hall that hosts a peer support team. On Tuesdays, stop by for Colouring and Conversation; on Wednesdays, show off your Battleship strategies during Board Game Café; don’t miss Thursday Hang at the Hub with a different fun thing to do every Thursday evening (and get Level Up XP points).
