Grad student, alumna named most influential lawyers

Annual list from Canadian Lawyer consists of lawyers who display a passion for justice, human rights advocacy, and societal equity, and are all influencing standards and attitudes with their outstanding professional abilities.

Current graduate student and sessional instructor and an alumna have been named two of Canada's most influential lawyers from Canadian Lawyer. The are legal game changers embodying the highest aspirations of the profession. 

Sania Chaudhry is a current graduate student and sessional instructor, teaching ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ Law's new Critical Race Theory and the Law course. She is a labour, employment and human rights lawyer with , with a passion for helping clients find the best path forward. Sania is one of five winners in the Changemakers category.

Meenu Ahluwalia, BSc'95, LLB'99 is a winner in the In-House category. Meenu is a lawyer with Canada's Department of Justice, as was recently won the .
