Prof appointed 2nd ethics adviser for City of Calgary
Professor Emily Laidlaw was appointed to the part time position on April 8, 2019.
In 2016, The City of Calgary became the first municipality in western Canada to appoint an Ethics Advisor and Integrity Commissioner. The Ethics Advisor works alongside the City鈥檚 Integrity Commissioner Sal LoVecchio, formerly a Justice of the Court of Queen鈥檚 Bench, in the Integrity and Ethics Office.
Former 草莓污视频导航 Law professor Alice Woolley was the first person in the role. She stepped down when she was appointed a Justice of the Court of Queen鈥檚 Bench last fall.
