Professor Kathleen Mahoney is in New York this week as part of the Canadian delegation at the 62nd session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW62). The theme of the session is to examine the challenges and opportunities in achieving gender equality and the empowerment of rural women and girls.
