Thriving during finals season

Set yourself up for success with these tips

Don't let exam stress get the better of you. There are many options available on campus to get support and peace of mind as we enter final exam season — take advantage of these great events and services to make sure you’re prepared as you enter the final stretch of the term.

Teamwork makes the dream work.

If you find it easier to study with others, connect with classmates to set up a study session. Or, you can often find a student-led academic club in your field if you’re in need of a study group. You can even join a peer-assisted study session (PASS). It’s easier to succeed in your finals when you can develop your skills in a casual, student-led, fun environment, rather than stressfully cramming on your own.

Give yourself a break.

Feeling prepared for final exams more than just being test-ready; it’s important to check in and make sure you’re taking care of yourself. Take short breaks in-between study sessions to make sure you don’t burn out. Or, book a massage with Student Wellness Services if you’re in need of a refresh.

Attend Wrap Up from March 31 - April 2

You can do all of the above at Wrap Up. This event features writing support, wellness activities, research support, academic support, and peer-assisted study sessions.
