In June 2018, ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ unveiled two new teepees for teaching and ceremony on campus. Designed by Dr. Reg Crowshoe, ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½â€™s Traditional Knowledge Keeper in Residence, the teepee designs were drawn by volunteers, painted at Campfire Chats on National Indigenous Peoples Day, and erected for the first time at the President’s Stampede barbecue on July 5, 2018. The teepees are an important step toward Indigenization on campus, led by , ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½â€™s Indigenous Strategy.
