鈥淭his is great news,鈥 said President Ed McCauley. 鈥淓ach year, our university gains further international recognition for our unique academic programming, our trailblazing research, and our high-achieving graduates. The 草莓污视频导航 did well in a number of other subject areas. Top 100 status was achieved by anatomy and physiology, archaeology, and nursing. These three subject areas placed in the 51-100 rank worldwide. Nationally, the QS subject rankings placed anatomy, physiology, and archeology fifth in Canada, and nursing, seventh in Canada.

The purpose of the QS ranking is to help prospective students identify the world鈥檚 leading schools in their chosen field. Each institution is ranked on four criteria: academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per paper, and H-index, a measure of scholarly productivity.

QS derives its reputational scores from their annual surveys with employers and academics, where respondents are asked to rate top schools in various subject areas.
