Aceil is a dedicated scholar majoring in Political Science and minoring in Greek and Roman Studies. Her choice of Political Science reflects a deep commitment to understanding governance, policy-making, and international relations, providing her with insights into the operation and impact of political institutions on the global stage. Her minor in Greek and Roman Studies stems from a fascination with ancient civilizations, particularly their mythology, and explores how Greek and Roman myths have influenced societal values, governance, and political thought throughout history.
Aceil has actively contributed to university life through various clubs. At the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½'s Intercollegiate Debate Society (UCDS), she progressed from Junior Executive to VP Outreach and VP Internal, honing her public speaking and strategic planning skills. She also served as Junior President and VP Marketing for the African Caribbean Students Association (ACSA) and as Social Media Director for the Muslim Students Association (MSA), where she managed social media strategies to enhance engagement.
Valuing discipline, passion, generosity, adaptability, integrity, and perseverance, Aceil approaches both academic and extracurricular endeavours with a strong ethical foundation. She aspires to a career in corporate law, drawn to its dynamic nature and intellectual challenges. Corporate law offers opportunities to tackle complex legal issues and contribute to business development, aligning with her drive for continuous professional growth. With a solid foundation in current events and a commitment to justice, Aceil is well-prepared to make a meaningful impact in the legal field.
