Biography

I have always had a strong passion for science, having competed in my first science fair in fifth grade. I led my high school's synthetic biology team for 3 years, while conducting independent research in the field of renewable energy. I am intrigued by the intersection of synthetic biology and engineering, and hope to work in the biomedical field.

Beyond research, I have a love for leadership, community service and entrepreneurship, continually aiming to have a strong, positive impact on the world around me. Whether that is through volunteering, non-profit work, or mentoring youth, I value helpfulness above all. I'm involved in a few clubs including Canadian Global Care on Campus, the Cancer Care Association, and I am the current Vice-President of a non-profit organization, Wake Up Mental Health.

On campus, I'm involved in the Engineering Students Society as VP Academic, where I advocate for students at the Schulich School of Engineering, leading various events and initiatives. This year I had the honor to start the tradition of the Iron Pin Ceremony at ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½!

I love all things photography and videography! Outside of school you can catch me baking and decorating cakes, longboarding and crocheting.
