The Government of Canada announced a $635 million聽investment in research across the country today, with $18.8 million going to 草莓污视频导航 researchers. includes grants from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Council of Canada鈥檚 (NSERC) Discovery Grants Program and Research Tools and Instruments Program, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council鈥檚 (SSHRC) Partnership Grants, Partnership Development Grants, Insight Grants and Insight Development Grants programs, and the Canada Research Chairs Program, including its partnership with the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF).聽
鈥淭he support of the federal government enables our researchers to pursue novel discoveries that will advance the well-being of our communities,鈥 says Dr. William Ghali, vice-president (research). 鈥淭he programs included in this announcement span the breadth of our research community, from early-career scholars, to faculty members who are longtime leaders in their fields. Many of these grants will provide multiple years of support for researchers, in which they will create new knowledge, pursue high-risk, high-reward research, and mentor students and postdoctoral scholars in the early stages of their research careers.聽
