The Minor in Film Studies is offered collaboratively by the Faculties of Communication and Culture, Fine Arts, and Humanities. It consists of five full-course equivalents in Film.

Required

A total of four full-course equivalents as follows:

Film 200, 300, 321 OR 323

One and one-half full-course equivalent Film courses (which may include either Film 321 or 323 not chosen above). A minimum of one full-course equivalent must be at the 400 level.

Options

A total of one full-course equivalent to be chosen from other Film designated courses and/or:

Canadian Studies 331, 341

Communications Studies 367, 403, 441, 537, 567

Economics 499.63

History 495

Religious Studies 399 (when the topic is "Religion and Film")

Note: Students may not count Film 380 towards the Minor in Film Studies.
