5.1 Post Graduate Certificate in Counselling

The 18-credit (6 half courses), Post-Graduate Certificate in Counselling program focuses on the fundamentals of counselling and has a similar structure to the Stage I of the Master's program. The Certificate is designed for students who do not want to complete a full Master's degree.

Program Design

The program has been designed to be completed in one and a half years. This completion rate is considered full-time study at four courses per year. However, you may choose to complete the program more quickly or to extend it over a longer period of time (up to two years). Be prepared to plan ahead to ensure course availability and be sure to have any changes to the normal program plan approved by your academic advisor.

Admission

Program Application is December 1 of each year. Please see the Graduate Programs in Education website for more information: .
