Introduction
The Faculty of Education in partnership with the Faculties of Arts, Science, and Kinesiology offers a number of five-year concurrent degree programs. These programs require students to complete three years of study with the cooperating faculty and two years of their studies with the Faculty of Education. Students will be required to complete Education 201 prior to entering the third year of the concurrent program (Semester 1 of the BEd). Students must also meet the course requirements for their chosen route (see 3.5.1 Elementary Route or 3.5.2 Secondary Route). These requirements will be built into the degree program in which the applicant is registered in the Faculty of Arts, Science or Kinesiology. |
BA or BSc (Faculty of Arts )/BEd

BKin (Leadership in Pedagogy and Coaching)/BEd

This program is designed for students intending to teach music (both instrumental and choral) in schools.
