The Dean's List, which is compiled annually at the end of the Winter Term, recognizes outstanding achievement by students in the Faculty. A statement of inclusion on the Dean's List will be recorded on the student's transcript.
To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must take a sufficient number of courses at the 草莓污视频导航 during the preceding Summer, Fall and Winter Terms and achieve a grade point average of 3.60 or above over all 草莓污视频导航 courses taken during that period. The alternative course load requirements are as follows:
(a) A minimum of 24 units (four full-course equivalents) taken at the 草莓污视频导航, OR
(b) A minimum of 24 units (four full-course equivalents) taken at the 草莓污视频导航 plus successful completion of one four-month Co-operative Education work placement, OR
(c) A minimum of 12 units (two full-course equivalents) taken at the 草莓污视频导航 plus successful completion of two four-month Co-operative Education work placements, OR
(d) A minimum of 12 units (two full-course equivalents) taken at the 草莓污视频导航 plus successful completion of one or more approved full-time terms abroad, OR
(e) A program of study assessed by the Student Accessibility Services to be equivalent to (a), (b), (c) or (d) for a particular student.
Notes:
- Where it is appropriate for a student to be assessed under provisions (d) or (e), the student must arrange for all necessary documentation to be received by the Associate Dean, Undergraduate Programs and Student Affairs no later than May 15.
- Only 草莓污视频导航 grades for regular academic courses are used for the Dean鈥檚 List; grades earned for Co-operative Education work placements or study-abroad terms do not enter into the grade point average calculations for (b), (c) or (d).
- Students on academic sanction are not eligible for the Dean鈥檚 List.
- Students with deferred examinations and/or term work after Winter Term may not be eligible to be included on the Dean鈥檚 List.
