²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ Calendar 2015-2016 Werklund School of Education 2. Faculty Regulations 2.4 Police Information Check
2.4 Police Information Check

All applicants to the Werklund School of Education are required to provide a current Police Information Check which includes a Criminal Record Check and a Vulnerable Sector Search. In order to be considered "current", the Police Information Check must be completed no earlier than June 30th and students will be required to request a new Police Information Check every 12 months. The original Police Information Check must be presented in person to partner school administration on the first day of Field Experience (Education 440, 465, 440, 560).

Students who are concerned about the presence of a criminal record should contact the police department to discuss the process for eliminating or erasing such a record.

Failure to present a clear Police Information Check may result in the student being unable to complete their Field Experience.

Students are obligated to inform the Faculty immediately of any change in status of their criminal record.
