4.59.3 Minor in Chinese

The Minor in Chinese is regulated by the section of the Faculty of Arts Graduation Requirements entitled 3.4.3 Minor Fields.

Students must complete at least 30 units (5.0 full-course equivalents) and not more than 36 units (6.0 full-course equivalents) in “Chinese Language” and “Chinese Studies” courses (see the Field of East Asian Language Studies).

Subject to Departmental approval, a maximum of 6 units (1.0 full-course equivalent) from Chinese Studies in a different discipline may be credited towards a degree.
