1Students in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics programs are encouraged to take Mathematics 213 and 313 for linear algebra. Eligible students should consider the Honours Program in Actuarial Sciences, Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics or Statistics.

2Students in the Actuarial Science programs should choose Actuarial Science 325 and 327; students in the Applied Mathematics programs and Pure Mathematics major programs should choose Applied Mathematics 311.

3Students in Statistics, Actuarial Science, or Applied Mathematics concentration programs should choose Statistics 323; students in Pure Mathematics, Pure Mathematics concentration, or Applied Mathematics major programs should choose Pure Mathematics 315.
