Summary of Changes for the 2021/22 Calendar
²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ Calendar 2021-2022 Academic Regulations F. Academic Standing F.3 Academic Notations F.3.2 Student Performance in Undergraduate Programs
F.3.2 Student Performance in Undergraduate Programs

All faculties review student performance for continuation in a program and graduation eligibility. University regulations require that an undergraduate student, at the time of review, be required to withdraw from the University if the student's grade point average is less than 1.70. Most faculties have higher requirements for continuation in a program. See the faculty section of this calendar for specific program information.

A student will be permitted one academic probationary period while registered as an undergraduate student at the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½. A student will be required to withdraw rather than be placed on probation for a second time. Prior probationary periods that occurred in excess of five years will not be counted.

A Faculty reserves the right to review a students' academic standing at any time at the discretion of the Dean or designate. The Dean or designate may permit a student to continue in program under specified conditions. A student will be required to withdraw if specified conditions are not met. These conditions shall be specified in writing by the Dean or designate to the student.

The transcript of record will indicate if a student has been required to withdraw or placed on probation due to unsatisfactory standing as noted in section F.3.1 Academic Standing.

A student who has been required to withdraw from a faculty at the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ and wishes to return must apply for admission to the University. For details on application requirements and processes, see section A.6 Required to Withdraw and Suspended Students.
