By registering with the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½, each student is deemed to have agreed to be bound by the regulations and policies of the University and of the program in which that student is enrolled as well as any relevant Faculty policies and regulations. Students should note that not every course listed in the Calendar is offered every year, nor does being admitted into a program guarantee space in any given course.

Applicants and current ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ students are responsible for familiarizing themselves with the information contained in this Calendar, including the specific regulations of the Faculty or Faculties in which they are registered or to which they are applying. Students will be required to meet program requirements as stated in the Calendar that is in effect in the term to which they were admitted. It is a student’s responsibility to ensure the courses in which they are registered are appropriate to the degree, diploma or certificate sought.

The language of instruction at the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ is English, except in certain courses. As resources permit, selected courses in some disciplines may also be offered in other languages.

The Academic Calendar sets forth the intention of the University at the time of publication. While every effort is made to ensure Calendar content is accurate, the University reserves the right, subject to the authority of General Faculties Council or where appropriate, the Board of Governors, to make whatever changes it considers necessary or referenced in other documents relating to admission and registration including but not limited to, the elimination of or changes to courses, programs, organizational structure, tuition and fees, entrance standards, academic standard, degree requirements and regulations. While the University may make changes without notice to students or prospective students, the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ shall make reasonable efforts to notify students of such changes as soon as practical.

Every reasonable effort is made to ensure the information provided in this Calendar is correct and accurate at the time of publication; however, inaccuracies and errors may occur. If there is an inconsistency or conflict between the academic regulations and policies published in the Calendar, and such regulations and policies established by resolution through the University General Faculties Council or the Board of Governors, the regulations and policies version as approved by the appropriate governing body will prevail.

The ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ does not accept, and hereby expressly disclaims, any and or all responsibility or liability to any person, persons or group, either direct or indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising out of any one or more calendar changes, errors or inaccuracies. For clarity, the University disclaims liability to any person who may suffer loss as a result of reliance upon any information contained in this Calendar.

The ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ disclaims all responsibility and liability for loss or damage suffered or incurred by any student or other party as a result of delays in or termination of its services, courses, or classes by reason of force majeure, pandemics, public health emergencies, fire, flood, riots, war, strikes, lockouts, damage to University property, financial exigency or other events beyond the reasonable control of the University. The University also disclaims any and all liability for damages arising as a result of errors, interruptions or disruptions to operations or connected with its operations or its campuses, arising out of computer failure or non-compliance of its computing systems.

Effective with the 2008/2009 edition, the online Calendar is the official University Calendar.
