Welcome to the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½!
On behalf of the University community and the Graduate Students’ Association (GSA), we welcome you and hope you are excited to join thousands of other graduate students participating in cutting edge research and advanced programs.
As a graduate student here at the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½, you are a member of the GSA and we want to help support your success in all areas of life while you are part of our community. We do this through providing students such as yourself with academic, social, and financial support. For example, the GSA helps to provide platforms for graduate students to showcase current research, such as the Peer Beyond Symposium and Thesis Talk Thursdays. The GSA also helps to provide social opportunities highlighted on the and newsletters for new and returning graduate students to stay connected. Financially, there are many awards, bursaries, and grants that you will have access to as a member of the GSA. Take a look at the GSA section of this Calendar for more information on these and many more opportunities.
Whether you are joining our community from around the corner or from around the world, we are excited to have you as part of our graduate student body. This can be a stressful and trying time in life, but we are committed to supporting you and helping to make this a memorable and positive experience. I encourage you to get involved and take advantage of all the excellent programs, resources, and activities the GSA and your new community hosts. As in most aspects of life, your experiences here will ultimately be up to you but our hope in the GSA is that we will get to know you and you will get to know us as together we maximize our time here.
