Multi-Faith Spaces

Discover the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½'s multi-faith spaces available for students, staff, and faculty for quiet reflection, meditation, prayer, and other wellness activities.

Bookable Rooms

These spaces can be booked for one-time or re-occurring events. Events that may be booked in our spaces are to support spiritual wellness and religious observamce. We require a minimum of one week to process your booking request. Read the multi-faith booking regulations here. Waiting for your booking to be approved? Complete the now!

Drop-in Spaces

These spaces are drop-in only and managed by the Faith & Spirituality Centre.

Foothills Multi-Faith Room - HSC 1001

At the Foothills campus, there is one multi-faith room in the Health Sciences building (room HSC 1001). The capacity is approximately 10 people and it is open according to the Health Sciences building hours.

Meditative Labyrinth

To the west of the Dining Centre, facing the residence buildings, a labyrinth is available for use by the campus community. Labyrinths have been found around the world, from Scandinavia to Pakistan. They're easy to use; you just walk the path. Simply walking the path will help you meditate.

Faculty-managed Multi-Faith Spaces

The following spaces are managed by independent departments at the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½. They are available for drop-in use only, unless otherwise specified.

  • Location: SS 526 (Social Science building)
  • Who: students in the Department of Classic and Religion
  • Hours of access: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday
  • Capacity: approx. 4-5 people

  • Who: students in the Werklund School of Education
  • Capacity: approx. 4-5 people
  • Location: MFH 3302 (Murray Fraser Hall)
  • Who has access: all students in the Faculty of Law
  • Hours of access: subject to MFH building hours, usually 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
