3.3.7 Overlapping Programs

No more than half of the courses used to complete the field of study requirements of one program can be used toward the completion of another program (or programs).

This principle applies to double majors, combined degrees, second degrees and major/minor combinations.

Students should be sure to take account of the overlapping principle in choosing courses for interdisciplinary programs combined with other programs.
