Sensory-Friendly Space on Campus
The Sensory-Friendly Space at the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ is a dedicated, calming environment that provides a peaceful refuge for individuals who experience sensory sensitivities.
This space aims to reduce overwhelming stimuli such as loud noises, bright lights, and busy visuals, offering a safe and quiet area for anyone needing a break from the hustle and bustle of campus life. The Sensory-friendly study space includes adjustable lighting, flexible seating, study zones, and various sensory tools. It is an inclusive resource to support the mental and emotional health of the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ community, ensuring everyone has a space where they can recharge and focus.
Location: TFDL 355D (Taylor Family Digital Library, third floor)
Hours: Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
