Christianne Laliberte Durish

Christianne is a doctoral candidate in the Clinical Psychology program. Her dissertation is focused on examining the roles of brain reserve, cognitive reserve, and psychological resilience in predicting trajectories of post-concussive symptoms in children. She is currently completing her residency in Pediatric Psychology at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto. Clinical areas of focus are neuropsychological assessment (epilepsy and stroke) and intervention (diabetes) as well as clinical research (neuro-oncology).

Christianne enjoys working with children and has a strong interest in developmental psychology and, in particular, brain development and functioning. It’s no surprise that she has collided these passions in her pursuit for a career in pediatric neuropsychology. Her research interests are primarily related to the role of resilience in buffering the long-term effects of concussion. Christianne is motivated to make novel contributions to the area of pediatric concussion with the goal of becoming a clinician-scientist in the field.
