3.1.2 Change of Program

Students may transfer from one ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ program to any other for which they are eligible.

Continuing ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ students may request a Change of Program online using the Student Centre. Changes in program include the transfer from another Faculty to the Bachelor of Design in City Innovation program and/or the designation of a Minor, Concentration or Embedded Certificate. If an application is unsuccessful, a new application must be submitted in the following year.

Change of programs are processed effective for the upcoming Fall Term only. The deadline to apply is February 1 of the application year.

Students changing programs from a Faculty outside of the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape will be required to present the high school courses required for admission by the February 1 deadline. Required courses for admission are listed in A.5.3.1.

Students who have not completed 12 units of university course work by the end of the Fall Term in their application year will be evaluated based on high school admission requirements, as listed in A.5 in the Admissions section of this Calendar.

Students who have completed 12 or more units of university course work by the end of the Fall Term in their application year will be evaluated based on transfer student admission requirements, as listed in A.5 in the Admissions section of this Calendar. Change of program admission GPA will be calculated using the most recent course work to a maximum of 30 units of graded courses. Courses taken and awarded credit on an alternative grading system (e.g. Completed Requirements (CR), Credit Granted (CG), pass, complete) will not be used as part of the 30 units to calculate the admission average.
