Note: These 4.0 FCE non-science courses are selected from the Faculties of Communication and Culture, Humanities, Fine Arts, Social Sciences and the Haskayne School of Business (see Table I, 3.4 Program Requirements for courses that may not be used to satisfy this requirement). Of these 4.0 FCE, students must take at least 1.0 FCE in each of at least two of the aforementioned Faculties (see (d) Breadth requirement in 3.4 Program Requirements.

Note: The Major program may contain a maximum of 10 FCE from the field of Geophysics, and the Honours program may contain a maximum of 12 FCE from the field of Geophysics.

Note: 600-level courses are available to fourth year students with prerequisites and consent of the Department.

Note: The Majors and Honours programs in Geophysics meet the current academic requirements for professional registration with APEGGA.
