Workplace Diversity and Employment Equity

The ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ has articulated its commitment to diversity in its strategic direction, Eyes High. One of our foundational commitments states that people are our most valuable asset and that we will hire and retain talented individuals who skilfully provide the institutional support that is critical for individuals and teams of researchers to be leaders in their field. Eyes High gives us a chance to fully acknowledge and strengthen our commitment to Workplace Diversity and Employment Equity. Helping us create a portal to the best minds in the world and capitalize on the wide range of individual personalities and belief systems that already exist at the university. With the Workplace Diversity and the Employment Equity Plan we will build a strong sense of inclusion by promoting intercultural understanding on campus through communication and training, remove barriers through enhanced accessibility and improved processes and community outreach, we will contribute to the strategic direction to become one of Canada’s top five research universities.
